Rehabilitation of the infrastructure around the Medieval Castle of Tirana

About the Project

The works consist in rehabilitation of the underground and aboveground infrastructure section of str.Murat Toptani, it’s transformation from an asphalt and traffic road to pedestrian road and sidewalks paved with natural stone, rehabilitation of the walls and towers of the medieval castle, cultural heritage objects. This road makes the connection with the boulevard and Tabakeve Bridge, creating for the city of Tirana, a innovator recreational environment, with gardens, fountain, colored light and specific recreational facilities paved with decomposde stone aggregate. This project is conducted with EU funds.
